Written Words

This blog began at the suggestion of a dominant man i worked with for a few months in late 2007. It was meant to be a way for me to let him know what was going on in my mind regarding D/s. The posts were pretty much just streams of thought and unedited. i was to just write and he'd glean what he needed from whatever i rambled on about. So always being the girl who loves a really good one-on-one conversation rather than captiviating the attention of everyone at the banquet table, i pretty much just spilled out the thoughts and feelings. Didn't worry about paragraphs or sentence structure. Didn't even think of polishing. i never imagined anyone other than the two of us would read it.

Now there are many who read it. i understand the attraction of looking into someone else's world. What i didn't expect was how much the sharing of my words with people i don't even know affects what i want to share. i'm not as candid any more.

i still try to just write in an unedited fashion. i'm going to try to write more often without being concerned about how people looking in will view my flip flopping and sometimes confused as to direction self. i'll try not to worry about not being polished.

crys, I for one would be disappointed at any loss of candor in your postings. One of the things that attracted me to you blog when I first discovered it was the open and honest and even self deprecating rawness of your thoughts and words. That slightly bewildered, deer-in-the-headlights, confused/aroused sense of self is very attractive.

I hope you will not become overly concerned with the context and will continue to provide the natural and raw content of your thoughts, feelings and experiences.

i write both ways - unedited, unpolished, and straight from the hip, and also the other way - as polished little pieces i can go back and look at for a while and admire my handiwork. whichever way you pick, i'm happy to keep reading - they all look like gems to me.

beautiful one..we started writing and reading each other at about the same time and i have enjoyed sharing with you and watching how your thought process has evolved. i know exactly what you are saying about knowing others are reading..what drives me nuts is why almost no one ever leaves a comment (thank you for your insightful ones!)

Master and i were discussing just this before He left for the office this morning. He doesn't write but is actually the one most in charge of the content...either by direction or action! And He was the one who picked the name, added the site meter and started looking at where people arrive from..which i admit i now find fascinating...if only because i helps me see that what W/we are experiencing is some what universal..not each the same, but parts touch so many others...i wish i had had the validation that i wasn't a complete freak earlier in my life! Or maybe my freakiness is lots of others fantasy..who knows as they don't say! i do know the world loves COCK!! Freud was onto something there!

i agree it is hard to write without being aware of others..but for me not so much the what i write..but what i don't...and i worry about that in that i feel some responsibility that "others" may get a skewed view of 24/7 without pointing out some of the darker aspects...Master may choose to share some of that just to get it out in the open because we have seen that writing helps me process alot of internal junk...out and away, often times!

As far as the editing...it's the spelling that i can't let go...i try not to over think the words and structure..which causes trouble as i have to wait until He approves something and chooses to post it and lately, it seems "old News" to me by the time i see it on His blog. And i resent not getting the release that comes from writing and the feedback from Him that He read it!!

i love how you write and always miss you when you take breaks..i am usually hoping they are for good things and not too long!!

Thanks for sharing a bit of yourself with us!
